I made UL backpack for myself and my son

About two years ago I was looking for a backpacking pack

for my son but couldn't find anything that worked.

The Fjällräven Kajka Junior was too big and heavy for a kid, and the Decathlon options

felt too generic and were also a bit oversized.

So I just made one. Went full BPL style while I was at it. He's grown a bit since then but

still using it.

Used the Prickly Gorse pattern as a base. For my son's version I just scaled it down

when printing.

Happy stitching everyone!

Hey r/Seoul,

So I work in Jongno and walk past tons of tourists every day. And I kept thinking that these people probably want to eat somewhere real, not just whatever shows up on Google Maps.

So I just... started building something on weekends. Took longer than expected but here we are.

It's called Sikr (sikr.kr). Completely free, no sign-up, works offline too.

Right now it has 1,026 local restaurants across 11 neighborhoods in Seoul, with English menus and some simple Korean phrase cards you can how the owner when ordering, stuff like "less spicy please" or "one more bowl of rice."

Honestly I just made it as a hobby and put it out there. If it's useful for anyone visiting Seoul, that's more than enough for me.

If you've used it (or if you try it), I'd genuinely love to know what's missing or what could be better. Still figuring out what people actually need.

sikr.kr — Thank you!
