How does Math 147 choose which letter grade to give?

Hi guys, on the syllabus for Math 147 it says an A/A- is any 85%-100%. Does anybody know how they choose the cutoff for what an A is in the class? Is it a 92.5? Is it a 90?

Hi guys, I'm currently a junior and decided to become pre-pa around a year ago. Because of that, I have no PCE hours and know it would be smart to start attaining them. One big issue for me is that I go away to college, so many jobs are difficult for me to attain in just a single summer. I am planning on taking a gap year anyways, so I always tell anywhere I'm applying that if I were to work for them, it would not be a waste to train me for a summer as I would come back and continue to work for them. The main job I've been trying to get is as a PT aide, as I have no certifications. This leads me to my question, has anyone been able to get a job like this in a similar situation? Would it be smarter for me to get a certification over the summer instead? And lastly, should I just come back to college early and cut my summer short to find a job in my college town and work per diem during the year? (as a PCT, they would train me on site)
