Finished Ghost Game with partner tonight and oh boy...(Review/Spoilers)
theres honestly not much here i can even say besides the obvious, but lets just say as much as i really do like the show, the lack of overarching plot really hurt, and entering the final 10 eps when they start the talk about Darkness, im already near out of it but intrigued enough to see where it goes
but the final 3 eps? the FINALE??? yea it sorta ruined the show for me, so much needless padding in extremely rushed pacing, the whole reveal about Quantamon wasnt necessary at all (im still confused as i write this) just to reveal Gulusgammaon is a ALIEN from a escaped planet by the "endbringer"???? yea no thanks with this kind of padding, im getting deja vu as im reminded of Kamen Rider Kiva having the same kind of ending and how much i absolutely loathe & despise it, and thats besides everything else
poorly explaining hiros dad, the black digimon being like a bodyguard force? the fact we always couldve entered the digital world but needed poorly explained help?? and all over 40+ eps of filler, yea GG really is the digimon of all time
its a shame, because i REALLY LIKE this cast, Kiyoshiro and Ruli are GREAT, and have the best digimon dynamics, Gammamon is adorable and Siriusmon & Diarrbitmon are 2 new favorites, and ofc GulusGammamon being Gulusgammamon, but thats it, thats all i can say, besides some fun, intense episodes and incredible animation
6/10, if not for the finale it wouldve been a 6.5 or 7
