Hey y’all! I’m an experienced Senior Project Manager who also now has five employees reporting directly to me. I work in the translation industry and I’ve stuck with this company for almost seven years despite underwhelming pay and a high stress environment, because it’s deeply important to me that my day-to-day efforts actually make a measurable difference in other people’s lives. But things aren’t going that well…management has changed, it’s become less employee friendly, more demanding and I know my experience has now become more valuable than the salary. My question is, with my current qualifications what are some other fields of work worth exploring that pay a relatively decent salary and also give me the day-to-day fulfillment I am seeking?
