First, I want to say, I love reading on this page. I'm trans, and I was raised Southern Pentecostal, so a non-affirming background. The issue is, I want to believe there is a loving god, I can't let it go.

This is really stressful for me. I know for others, religion is a side thing and not affecting them in their day-to-day life, but it brings me distress to think there is no god.

I like Eastern philosophies like Buddhism and yoga practices. I just get this sinking feeling of emptiness off me.

Any advice

Hello everyone, just want to say I love this space as a trans Christian. I'm returning to Christ after a stint of being entrenched in Buddhism and Eastern philosophies, which I'm still actively sifting through.

My question: I’m looking for Christian books that aren’t centered on LGBT+ topics—just solid reads about faith and growth. Any favorites you’d recommend?”

Thanks!!
