I bought 50 Feet of LED strips and it came with a heavy gel-like barrier protecting the strip. I hung them and an hour later the strips fell off of the wall. my walls are textured and i've had trouble in the past with adhesive. The adhesive has obviously worn down from contact with my carpet. I'm unsure as to whether 3M VHB TAPE or screw in clips every foot would hold the led strips better. (for the screw on clips I would use thumbtacks or heavy duty tacks if need be to secure the clip into the wall)
