Started taking reta about a month ago and the weight loss has been excellent. However it's nuking my sleep and I wake up at 5am every night feeling warm. Tried eating a carb snack before bed and no relief.
I tried semaglutide a couple of years ago, the nausea was horrible but it didn't really affect my sleep at all.
I'm thinking of switching to tirzepatide. I'm not sure if it's the glucagon mechanism of action that's affecting my sleep by depleting my liver stores and making me feel warm.
I'm only on 1mg split into two doses but I took a fairly high dose of semaglutide with 0 sleep issues.
Would tirzepatide be a better fit for me? It is a lot easier to train on reta Vs sema so I'm a bit apprehensive about giving that up, but better that than feeling like a zombie
