I spent about 2/3 hours last night sailing attempting to find an island for my base. I haven't created anything yet at all apart from the essentials (workbenches, ship benches etc). I dont really want to build a base and then have to move it because I found a 'better' position or nicer looking island. However, everywhere I saw yesterday was absolutely swamped in trees and didn't really have any open area for an actual village kinda setting.

Also, new the maps / servers procedurally generated? Or are they all the same?
