heya ! I've been on Ritalin for almost a year now. I take 20mg in the morning, and 10mg in the afternoon to avoid crash out. Now, my local pharmacy is often out of stock on official Ritalin, and they'll give me generic methylfenydate instead. I feel like I get way more anxious and paranoid when I take the generic version than when I take Ritalin, is that just a confirmation bias or is there genuine research on Ritalin having less negative side effects than methylfenidate arrow ? I haven't brought it up to my psychiatrist yet.
Also just to specify, I'm NOT looking to be told to change my dose, and I'm a trans man, I just post this question here because you're way more chill than some other subreddits who shall not be named.
