Nipponbashi Street Festa

Just moved to Osaka this year and attending Street Festa for the first time with a friend, neither of us are cosplaying. Given how massive the turnout tends is in previous years, we're wondering if arriving around 10AM is early enough to find a decent spot. We want to be reasonably close to the opening stage near Ebisucho, or will it already be packed by then?

Also, what do people usually do after the event wraps up? Are there any open meetups or gatherings, or is the after-party scene mostly private?

New Graduate Dual Citizen (US/JP) investing

I'm a new grad that has just recently moved to Japan from the US to start my career here in June. Had never lived here prior so I recently opened up a regular bank account at 三菱UFJ. I'm a US/Japan dual citizen, so I know that adds a layer of complexity. I'm not sure if I'll be staying in Japan long-term or eventually moving back to the US, so portability is a concern. With that I have a few questions:

  1. Is NISA still the best option given my dual citizenship and uncertainty about staying long-term?

  2. Which broker is best for a foreign resident / dual citizen? I've heard SBI Rakuten and Interactive Brokers Japan mentioned a lot.

  3. Are there any other investing options I should know about (iDeCo, US-based brokerage, etc.)?

  4. Would it be better for me to just make an IRA? I won’t really be selling a bunch so I’d just be taxed by Japan when I take it out.

Hi, I was thinking of attending Super Comic City Osaka on May 31st. I didn't get the advanced sale tickets and was wondering if anybody attended these events before. I know they also do Super Comic City Tokyo. Do you typically need to arrive hours ahead of time in order to get a same day entry ticket? Or can I arrive there like 30min before the start of the event and still make it inside? Event is Hostesd by Akaboo https://akaboo.jp/event/item/ca233.html . Also is there a better sub to post this on?
