We’re flying with our toddler for the very first time in a couple of weeks. She has her own ticket, so we have 3 tickets total. Lately she is not jiving with her stroller and the only thing that seems to work is a baby carrier hiking backpack (see attached picture).

Would we be able to gate check this? Could we gate check this AND a stroller? If we gate checked this hiking carrier, should we purchase a bag for it or is it fine as-is?

Note: we’re also checking in a car seat.
