Looking for a free mobile-first finance tracker. Based in Spain, so EU/Spanish bank compatibility matters.
Setup:
• 3 accounts: checking, savings, one credit card
• Want a unified view of balances, income, and expenses
• Categorization is nice; full envelope budgeting (YNAB-style) is overkill for me
• Free tier must be actually usable, not a 7-day teaser
What I’ve already ruled out or considered:
• Mint: dead
• Rocket Money / Copilot / Monarch: paid or US-only
• Empower: investment-focused, US-only
• Bank-native apps: don’t aggregate across institutions
• Spreadsheets: works, painful on mobile
Specific questions:
1. Any genuinely free apps that work with EU banks via PSD2 / Tink / GoCardless?
2. If auto-sync isn’t realistic here, which manual-entry apps don’t suck after 6 months of use?
3. Anyone using something like Wallet by BudgetBakers, Spendee, or 1Money long-term? Worth it?
Honest takes welcome, including “give up on auto-sync and use a spreadsheet.”

I’ve been using Trade Republic for a while and I’m struggling to get a clear, accurate picture of:
Realized gains/losses (not the blended “performance” the app shows, which mixes unrealized).
Total paid in fees (1€ per trade, spread costs, FX on USD-denominated assets).
Dividend withholdings and how to reconcile them at tax time.
Financial transaction taxes (e.g. Spanish “Tobin tax” on local equities, French FTT, Italian FTT, etc.).
The app gives me nice-looking numbers but very little granularity. The yearly tax report works for filing, but it doesn’t let me see a clean trade-by-trade breakdown.
What I’d like to know:
1. Any external tool that imports TR history reliably? I’ve seen Parqet and Portfolio Performance mentioned. Real pros/cons appreciated.
2. Is there an official way to export full history as CSV, or is everyone still parsing the monthly PDFs?
3. How do you reconcile TR’s tax report with your local filing? Is it enough on its own or do you cross-check it?
4. Has anyone actually calculated the true all-in cost of trading on TR (commission + spread + FX) vs the headline 1€?
Concrete workflows are more useful to me than generic recommendations. Thanks.
Recently, I've been really focused in analyzing my portfolio and I feel like Trade Republic really has room for improvement here.
I'm not asking for extremely technical analysis, but just an Analytics center where you can see returns YTD, see how much went into commissions or taxes, analyze return by year, a dividend quick analysis, etc
They actually have the data and I don't feel like it is over complicated.
What do you think?
