Daughter of new amputee - what should I know?
Greetings everyone!
I'm the daughter of a new LBKA (Feb 26) and was hoping for some guidance. My father recently lost the partial limb after an infection and is still recovering in hospital. What should I expect when I help take care of him? How can I help make him comfortable once he gets home? Should I expect a personality shift?
This is also my first ever Reddit post. Any guidance/suggestions would be lovely.
