Dental crown came off! Please help!
Called my dentist and going in tomorrow morning, but the crown came off cause it has a hole in the middle. Its not a root canal tooth so its very sensitive and hurts. I grind my teeth pretty hard and know thats probably what caused it. Have a dentist made night guard I wear every night. Have the crown on my tooth right now and am super tired but scared to go to sleep. I think I should take it off so I dont accidentally swallow it, but im wondering what I should do for the shaved down tooth underneath it. Worried I will grind it overnight if it's exposed and wake myself up with excruciating pain. Should I go buy some dental wax to cover it and remove the crown overnight? Put it back on throughout the day tonight when I do my nightshift. Please help 🙏
