Hi.my husband has just applied for his visa extension (family route).

It expires 16th May and we wont get a decision before then.

I am right in saying he is protected (and can continue working) whilst a decision is being made?

And also his work asked him for a new share code as they knew his visa was expiring soon. He generated a new one and his boss says the expiry of it is November when she puts it through on her end (though we arent sure where she got this) Is this okay for her to just have the recent share code or does his employer need to use the official request form ive seen mentioned to confirm status whilst he is waiting (once his current visa expires)

Hi

We have just applied for a spouse visa extension. My husbands biometric date is this saturday and we have just uploaded all relevant documents. I know all of them were there as i checked against the checklist more than once

However ive realised that now weve submitted it doesnt show any list of documents that were uploaded. All it shows is a tick and pop up saying all documents were uploaded

Ive seen conflicting info on this. Is this normal? And do we ever get an email with a list of successful uploads?

And if there waa a system error and something didjt upload im assuming HO would reach out and request it? It wouldnt just automatically reject??

So my husband is applying for FLR M (spouse visa) extension. We are using my, his sponsors, income.

I have provided payslips, bank statements and a letter from the employer. But i just noticed after we submitted that i put something different in my previous application where we also used my salary (and ive been in the same company since).

To explain - my company is one of those where it is "Name of company, part of name of company". The first time i put the second name, but this time i used the first name. Technically both are correct and my employer letter clearly states (both in the header and in the body of the text) that i work for "x company, part of y company". But im worried the discrepancy will get it refused as ive clearly said i havnt changed companies since applicatjons.

Should i put a quick note in the cover letter explaining it or am i overthinking?

So its very clear that the applicant signs the 1st declaration and the sponsor signs the second regarding our joint bills.

However im confused by consent form 3

I am assuming we do not need to sign the declaration form 3 -PART 3: Consent for the Home Office to verify information from third party

sponsor - because we dont have a "third party" sponsor

Or does the sponsor sign it because their payslips have been used in the financial requirement?

What date do we put as "when did you enter the UK". Is it the entry from the spouse visa (FLR M) or is it from the fiance visa entry.

I cant remember what we put last time on our first application. I think the correct answer is from the family visa start but i think we did it from start of fiance visa in the last application (first spouse visa). Im so scared if we put the spouse visa date in this extension and the previous application has a different date we will get rejected due to discrepancy. Any advice?

So im pulling together the documents for my husbands visa extension (FLR-M). We have adhered to the 6 pieces of evidence over 2 years spread as evenly as we could. It goes as follows:

June 2024 - Bank statements

October 2024 - Gas/Electricity Bill

March 2025 - Council Tax

July 2025 - Gas/Electricity Bill

Nov 2025 - Bank Statements

March 2026 - Council Tax

We are applying this weekend but that makes the final piece of evidence about 1.5 months prior to our application date (just because of the way council tax falls) - is this an issue?

I (UK citizen) and my husband (US) will be extending our family visa soon. We both work and both earn over the threshold (though I earn significantly more over the threshold.) Do we need to provide both our incomes even though one would suffice? I don't want to confuse anything unnecessarily.

Also my work situation is simpler (static pay, category A e.t.c) so if we only use one it would be easier to use mine but does that look bad on an application if the source of income is from the sponsor, even though the applicant does technically earn over the threshold too?

I may just be overthinking this!
