New business owner asking for advice
Hello everyone, I’ve been an arborist for 7 years and decided to open my own company. Im 25 years old and over the years I have been buying equipment to build my business. I know it wont be easy but Im up for the challenge. I have all the basic equipment to provide all tree services. I also recently just bought a 65 ft bucket truck, pickup truck, and 14x7 ft dump trailer. Also I bought a computer, desk, and printer for office work including a camera, action camera, and drone for marketing and advertising. All these items I purchased cash, so as of right now I have no overhead payments. So now I’m just waiting to get everything 100% with my fillings, permits, insurance, bank, irs, and all the other basic things need to be fully legal. Now I have questions that hopefully can be answered which is why I’m posting on here.
- What invoice software is best for running a tree
service and making contracts? - Besides google, instagram, facebook, and a website, what are other places for good advertising?
- How to I apply or bid for city jobs or government jobs in WA state?
- How to apply or bid for snow removal?
- Any certificate or permits needed to stand out above the rest?
- Something you with you need when starting out?
Thank you for time if you made it this far and any advice is appreciated greatly.
