Just wondering on what your opinions/ experiences are on whether spray foam on the underside of a roof deck affects shingle longevity or not.

Hi all,

So, I planned on finishing this out with PT, then wrapping with aluminum once I put a barrier for corrosion. My problem is that it's going to be 1/4" wider at the bottom than the top. Will this affect anything if the tracks are perfectly parallel and plumb? Let's say finished opening will be 9' on the bottom and 8' 11 3/4" on the top. I'd rather anchor flat against the foundation and not shim unless o absolutely have to.
