Got back on the game after not playing for a few months, currently in was 6200 yesterday and now I'm 6600. I've seen lobbies with players as high as 8k, at what point is it considered a "good" ELO?

I've had my Wave DX for a few years now. It's a great mic and the audio is really clear, but it's super sensitive and I'm not super tech savvy so I'm trying to figure out how to eliminate sounds like my lips sacking, or background audio static. I'll also mention that I'm not in a very sound-proofed room.

Should I get a foam sleeve to put over the mix? Or one of those little wall things I've seen people use? Any recommendations are appreciated, thank you!

I ask this as someone who has exclusively nuzlocked on physical copies except for literally three ROM hacks. How do you guys deal with the tedium of grinding in the mainline games? Bar gens 8 and 9, I feel like the game can start to turn into a pattern of Boss Fight - Grind - Another Boss Fight pretty easily, especially during the early sections of the game where your type variety is more limited depending on the title. Just wanted to have some discussion on this, curious to hear what other nuzlockers have to say!
