Red hair help
hello! first time posting here. I was a natural redhead (see second pic), but unfortunately my hair went white at a young age. I have never colored my entire head until yesterday. I have just done roots and added balayage once or twice a year for dimension. I recently started seeing my friend, who has been doing hair over 10 years. she did a good job covering my roots the first time, and she recommended we do a full refresh on my hair this time. First pic was Pinterest inspo I showed (among others), second pic was my natural color from years ago (which I’d like to be as close to as possible), and third pic is what I got. I hate it, and I feel like it’s not AT ALL what I asked for. :( Any suggestions on how I can fix it or get closer to what I want next time?
