I didn't want to post the letter because it has personal information. My daughter has Trisomy 21 and an intellectual disability, so in addition to my private insurance she also gets medicaid and waiver services. I recieved a letter from the department of human services medical review team giving me until next Thursday to get my daughter a non-sick examination by her PCP and have the PCP send in all of her medical records or they will close her case. Normally I wouldn't be as infuriated, but they know about these deadlines for years and decide to wait until the week before to send me the paperwork. The big kicker is they want her school's information to get her educational and therapy records, and school will probably be out by the time they send the request to the school. (I work for the school system and get the requests myself for the non-SPED students, so I know the turn around is long.) Sorry, I just needed to vent somewhere.
