My mom is forcing me out of the house after graduation, what do I need/go from here?
As the title reads, my mom came and confronted me after I came in from school after ignoring me for about 2 weeks. She asked if she was invited to my graduation, a thought I was thinking about over the past 2 weeks, and I ultimately said I don’t know. I wanted to say no. After years of neglect, abuse emotionally and physically, and inconsistency, you don’t get to derive pleasure from my success. I walked away and she came in my room wanting to argue and asking me if she should leave me alone forever (after she already said she would when we fought 2 weeks ago?) She said if I want to “be grown” then I have to go. I told her fine I will. She asked me when and I said the end of the month. It’s May 8th and I already planned to go on a trip to New York with the money I saved up, plus I got the hotel already which is non-refundable. What do I do? I’m planning to start selling off my stuff.
Edit: I neglected to mention I am moving into college at the end of summer so it is simply for the 3 months of summer!
