It's about a modern Asian family and an unexpected guest that shows up to their 100 day baby celebration. Red bean soup 紅豆湯 causes tensions to boil over in this family dramedy!

As a Canadian-born-Chinese (CBC) who doesn't use Cantonese every day but still value the importance of the language and trying not to lose it! It was important for me to include Cantonese in the film for preservation and to reflect the reality of a modern Asian / Cantonese speaking family.

I feel like the conversations at the dinner table mixed with English and Cantonese are pretty accurate! Haha. What do you think??
