FWD Manual Suggestions for a Daily

To be completely honest I utterly lost on what to look for in a car and for a car. I'm still a newish driver due to inconsistency and I really need a daily. My beater hasn't worked out the way I wanted it to, but with the bit of experience I have with stick, I prefer it greatly. All I know is I need something front wheel drive, reliable, and not impossible to source parts just in case, and the rest is cosmetic preference really. For personal reasons, I need something that makes me quite happy, and that I'd keep for a very long time.

I'm northeast, and not too far from the coast so rust is an issue with older models. We also have some interesting bipolar weather and I'm moving to a more rural area for school... I'd like something that won't suicide in winter so sadly no happy miatas :(

I love European cars and the look of a good old shitbox. I love the lights on the older miatas and vehicles that have goofy 'faces' or eccentric headlights. I would like something that isn't bubbly like a Mini Cooper, but small and narrow if possible. I've looked into Saabs but am not too sure which model would be the best for me. I also worry if I ever need parts I might run into issues. I heard that some 80s~90s Bimmers are reliable and honestly the look of the 2002 is the charming shit box aesthetic I am fond of.

2 doors would be a preference if possible, and as an odd request, something that can pull off being painted yellow.

As of now, I'm leaning towards some 90s Celicas or similar, but not sure if I'd be able to find one quick. Any other advice on them would be very appreciated as well. My budget is fairly flexible, though I'd rather not go over 10k but if something is really nice maybe 15~20k.

Thank you for reading. Seriously, thank you, and any recommendations or advice is fantastic.

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a few heads for make-up practice and customization : )

Im mostly interested in chaos or any heads without an official faceup or can one that can be easily removed.

I need at least one Cinnamon pear head, but I would be willing to buy 2 or 3, and one classic head in Tea. I'd prefer a semi real style or one with more narrow eyes for the Tea. Also interested in cinnamon hands of any type.

My budget is fairly flexible depending on style/condition and would love to know if anyone has these and is willing to part with. Feel free to reply or DM if so. Also am located in the US.

I've considered buying chaos ones directly, but don't wish to gamble and I've saved searches on ebay/merc, but no luck so I thought I'd ask here :)

Thank you!

I saw a similar post from about a year ago but am still unsure what to do next.

For context, I bought a used vintage item in okay condition for a nearly 300usd and the seller has 100% positive feedback. They listed the flaws; which there were a decent amount and I am fine with those. I've read the description multiple times and they have listed that they will not accept returns for those flaws. No issue there, except my item smells horrific and nowhere did it state that there was an odor. The entire item, and upon opening reeks. I have a headache from the smell and am unsure what to do. I highly doubt it will air out and I'm a bit disgusted and disappointed.

Since they have great feedback, I'm wondering if I should reach out first and see if they would accept a return or if opening an INAD is best. I understand that what I was buying was in poorish condition, but I didn't think it would smell. I also am worried that the seller might think I'm trying to fish for money back or am having buyers remorse but it reeks of dirt, must, and mice.

For sellers, would you prefer it if I reached first? Or any advice on my next steps would be lovely.

Thank you.
