I know traditionally European towns are much quieter on Sundays than where we live, but how quiet is Menton on a Sunday? We are planning a day trip from Nice.

I see Le Marche des Halles de Menton is open on Sunday mornings, but how about the rest of the town? It seems as though it's mostly wandering, shops, maybe beach, a church, botanical gardens, and lemons.

Sunday is our best day to schedule wise for us to visit, but I'm wondering if it's worth it, should we change everything around to hit Menton on a different day? We'll obviously have to be somewhere there along the coast on Sunday.
