We refinanced with Chase at the end of March. Our mortgage was previously with Mr Cooper. We had $5,200 in our escrow account with Mr Cooper. The loan officer at Chase explained that within 30 days of closing the refi, we’d receive a check from Mr Cooper refunding our escrow balance. We received a check from them this week for $125 for “escrow overages”.

I tried contacting their customer service via phone and chat, but I can’t get through because my loan number nor my SSN match any “open accounts”

Has anyone experienced this? Did I miss understand the process with what happens to escrow money during the refi process? I emailed the Chase loan officer to ask if they had any suggestions but I haven’t heard back yet. I’m starting to panic about our $5,200…

We have didi G/B twins that are 9 months and an almost 4 year old. The twins were a total shock and we never planned for a 3rd kid, but it’s been the best surprise.

As they get older, naps and bedtime feel so different from what we got to do with our older son. We would read books, cuddle, etc. then put him into his crib to fall asleep independently (we sleep trained around 7 months).

With the twins sharing a schedule and room, we try to read a book but inevitably one or both are too hungry/tired. They take their bottle on the Twin Z then I hold one for a few mins/rock them then put in crib as the other cries still on the pillow. Then I pick that one up for a few mins/rock then crib and leave the room. For a while, they would fall asleep on the pillow so it was a smooth transfer. As they get older, this is not happening the past few weeks so we are starting to plan for sleep training.

Do we just need to accept that with multiples you won’t get those sweet reading and snuggle moments when you’re always putting two down at once? It’s such a different experience than our first and I’m just in my feels about it.

Sorry, this is now more of a novel than I meant it to be.
