DJI Mic Mini 2 came out recently and there is one thing I didn't think I'd care about at all is the 10 colorful covers.
But honestly... I kinda love it?
The magnetic thing is actually pretty handy. I have used it to record stuff like chopping fruit in the kitchen, so I can stick it onto the knife and it starts picking up really clean audio. Plus the covers are easy to swap, I can change the covers with filming concept, like if I'm wearing a red sweater for a Christmas shoot, I'll just swap to a red cover so it matches.
Not gonna lie, this update isn't a huge leap or anything, but some of the smaller changes are actually pretty nice in daily use.
