My baby is 4 days old and being treated for jaundice with blue light therapy. Levels are lowering, but she is struggling with feeding and is drowsy. Doctors have placed a feeding tube to help top up her feeds.
They are testing for infection and doing some other blood tests.
Doctor mentioned that if nothing helps or there’s no improvement they may look into neurological or genetic issues.
Has anyone had this dramatic of an experience with jaundice before?
