Please Help Me Find a Good Dermatologist
I am looking for a new dermatologist and really need assistance with this! I would like to find one who is not only an excellent diagnostician for the usual lumps, bumps and growths, but also one interested in helping patients with aesthetics. I am a 69 year old female who taught swimming lessons and took part in competitive swimming in the days when cooking yourself in baby oil was recommended for a great tan so finding an empathic and knowledgeable doctor is a must. (Last year I saw a lady doctor who told me, when I asked questions about retinol, that she wasn't interested because so much of it was not authentic, and she really didnt want to answer any questions about laser resurfacing or anything else that isn't pathological. This was kind of distressing to me and I wasn't prepared for her bedside manner.) I would appreciate your help so much!
