Started getting checkerboarding on my monitors and from the research I've done it looks to be that my GeForce GTX 1070 GPU is starting to die.

All that being said, is there a cost effective replacement/upgrade? I mainly use it for watching videos and low demand video games (league of legends level of GPU demand) with occasionally playing more demanding games like Elden ring.

I don't really have a budget but would like to avoid spending thousands of dollars with how the current market is. Maybe around the $500 if possible
