Hi everyone!
I recently got into laptop gaming and bought an Acer Nitro ANV15-41 with the following specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS, Nvidia RTX 4050 6 GB, 16 GB RAM, 512 SSD
I was checking tutorials online and some people recommended monitoring the system with RivaTuner so I decided to try it with Arc Raiders since most likely my CPU will bottleneck with this game.
Is this an expected performance from this machine? it seems the game frequently goes below 60 fps with all the settings on the lowest with quality cnn (cnn seems to have the highest fps) dlaa and no framegen (which i consider a minimum for a game this type).
Also, since this is the first time buying a laptop i have some questions:
- should i do the power mode best performance or balanced?
- should i change any game settings in nvidia app/control panel?
- should i leave game mode on?
- is there any recommendations for optimizing this machine?
