Stolen iPhone: What do I do?
I hope this is the right place to ask this!
So a couple of days ago my phone was stolen. Life360 showed that it was at an unfamiliar address about 30 mins away from my house and about 15 away from where it was stolen from. There aren't any houses super close to this one so I'm sure that this is the correct address. I have filed a police report and given them the address, but all they can do is ask if the phone is there, and obviously the person could just say no. One officer said that I could go to the house and ask, meanwhile another said that I shouldn't.
This brings me to my question. If I go to the address (with friends), what would be the best way to go about it? Is there anything I can say to make getting my phone back more likely? I'm not really in a position to buy a new phone as I still have to pay off the stolen one.
