Hello, I was wondering what is currently a safe place or site that I can shop for used cars, aside from a local dealership. I know of Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist, but I was wondering if there's more places if I want to avoid scams or robbery risks (even if the chance is lower).

Currently in California. Also, what's one thing you would advise me on shopping for a used car in 2026? I haven't bought a used one in almost a decade that I'm not familiar with any tricks or trends people might be doing or pulling on me.
