I just saw Cliptis' new video on his updated OP selig build and noticed he's splitting the gems socketed between physical and all damage.

Having watched this video on damage calculations, my understanding is that all damage multipliers (physical, all damage, elemental) from gems are summed up, so it doesn't make a difference to split out the gems?

By this thinking it's a damage loss as the highest level skull gems have a 4% higher damage multiplier than diamonds.

Thoughts?
