I work in banking - think business formal everyday. I just went back after having my second kiddo and turned forty. I need a beautiful, useful bag for work. I drive in but walk 3 blocks from the garage. I use a 15” developer laptop (heavy beast mode). I also am pumping 3x a day. I have snacks and parts and papers. Think mom bag but chic.
I’ve narrowed it to 7 which doesn’t feel narrow but dang I’ve looked at a lot of bags and read so many posts here. Scoured the list someone posted.
Here is what i am looking for:
Structure.
Big enough to fit laptop(dedicated compartment is nice but not a must)
Leather.
Fully zippable (current coach is lovely but the straps are uncomfortable and only the laptop compartment zips so on flights things fall out)
Will be able to take a beating. Planes. Trains and automobiles. And a lot of Ubers.
Comfortable shoulder strap.
Color: deep deep red or camel I’m a deep autumn. My wardrobe reflects it.
Struggles to justify the cost of the Mulberry Bayswater being double the price but it is BEAUTIFUL. Either talk me in to it or tell me an option that is better.
