My father died last week and I am lost
My dad unexpectedly passed away last Wednesday while overseas. It's been a whole process trying to get his remains back to the US, but I was the executor on his trust + beneficiary and successor of his estate. I am his only daughter/child so this has been a lot to process but from what I know so far, I am inheriting two homes (he has a property in Arizona that he rents out which is around ~340,000 and his home a few towns over from me valued at around ~1.2 mil). I am not planning to sell these. He also has a large amount of money in stocks/investments. He had 2 IRA's, one traditional and one ROTH.
I am 26. I live in the Bay Area, California. I make about 90k a year. I already have a ROTH IRA that I max out yearly, plus invest on my own in stocks and crypto. I also have a HYSA. I am wondering what the best course of action is for his investments? As of now I understand that the IRA's will be transferred into my name and I have 10 years to deplete them.
