bought this perfume set during a emotional crisis

bought this perfume from cc set during a emotional crisis I know this sounds dramatic but I bought this Armaf Emotions set after one of those nights where you randomly start romanticizing your life instead of fixing it lol.

My dad bought his dream watch today. To most people it’s “just a Cartier,” but I don’t think anyone understands what this really meant to him. I grew up watching this man deny himself every single thing he ever wanted. He wore the same old watch for years, drove the same car long after he could’ve upgraded, and somehow always made sure everyone else had what they needed first.

There were years where money was genuinely tight and I still remember him pretending he “wasn’t into expensive things” whenever we passed luxury stores. But every single time we walked past Cartier, he’d slow down for a second and look at the Panthère display before moving on.

Today he finally bought it from the culture circle. And honestly the hardest part for me was watching him ask the salesperson three different times if the price was “really worth it.” Even after decades of working nonstop, he still felt guilty spending money on himself.

I don’t think the watch made him emotional.

I think it was the realization that after an entire lifetime of sacrificing for everyone else, he finally allowed himself to want something.

I recently heard about this brand from a mutual, and I heard that this is a good product and has been working out for her from 6 months or so, but I just thought that I'll just ask for more opinions here...so has anyone used this ??

Got these Nike runners through cc, and they honestly look way better in hand than online pics. I’m just starting out with running, like proper beginner level. Main goal was just to get something comfortable and beginner-friendly so I don’t quit due to dumb reasons. Tried them on and the cushioning feels super soft but still stable for running, which I guess is what you need when you're new to running.
From what I’ve read, higher cushioning helps reduce impact and makes it easier to stay consistent, especially when you’re new (very much me right now). Also heard max cushioned shoes are better for easy runs and longer distances since they don’t beat you up as much.

Anyone else started with similar shoes? Did it actually help or am I just placebo-running right now?
