So I was trying to recover an old instagram account, the account was locked and needed me to access through an old device in which I don't access to anymore, options that instragram gave me was to send a code via phone number, but I don't have access to that as well, since the phone number had long been gone and deactivated, so it left me with 2 options, to send a selfie or give a request to 2 of my friends who can vouch for my identity, it's been long since I've not opened the account, and when I tried to use the selfie video, it couldn't identify me, so I'm left with the friend verification thing, problem is, the request only sent a request to one friend while the other friend haven't received it. I've tried to 3 times now, with different friends, and I still come up with the same problem. Every attempt have me wait a two day-period, so I'm running out of options to recover this account.
