Currently trading Futures with Discount Trading broker on Rithmic connection using MotiveWave software.
I thought the `Margin Balance` was the total required margin. However when the `Balance` is going up as I am in the profits, the `Margin Balance` also goes up. And the gat between `Balance` and `Margin Balance` gets smaller and smaller the more profits I am making. I don't know how to interpret that balance number. If doesn't seem like the `total required margin` I was thinking of. If not, where can I find out the `total required margin` amount on this software?
