I am most likely the first person in the world who truly 100%'d THPS HD without installing Revert Pack DLC, free revert title update, community launcher and any community patches/fixes
Let's get it out of the way first: yes I know it was pointless, stupid and I am insane for doing this. It was just a "fun" nostalgic challenge for me. I was casually playing while listening to podcasts so it wasn't just time wasted mindlesly grinding. Here is exactly what I did to get true 100% in THPS HD vanilla PC version:
- I had to edit two .ini files in order to change graphics settings and rebind control inputs
- 100% Career with all characters. Maxed out stats, bought all boards. I used default trick inputs, never bought any new trick
- 100% Projectives with every character
- 100% Big Head Survival and Hawkman with every character
- I got every achievement or to be more specific I did what was required for every achievement and I pretended that I got it
- I landed every gap
- I did Single Session run in every level but sadly this game doesn't keep your high scores
- I played in a way to get maximum possible amount of money on one character and also minimum possible amount on another. The game is bugged in a way that you get punished by being too good haha. If you get "Sick" on first try on every Big Head Survival and Hawkman level then you will end up with minimum possible amount of money but if you on purpose go for High Score first, then Pro Score and then Sick Score you will get more money in total from every level. The difference in money at the end is quite massive
Obviously I haven't used any cheats or glitches or exploits or anything like that.
I know there is one more extra character in Xbox version because you can play as your avatar.
I don't know if it's okay for me to provide link to a save file in this post so if anyone wants it then shoot me a message. If you want to be the second person in the world to do it (I highly doubt it haha) and you need any help then feel free to ask.
Now I installed Revert Pack DLC and I started uphill battle with 3 new levels. They are even harder and more broken lol, especially Hawkman and COMBO in Canada. Will I be insane enough to also be most likely the first person in the world to truly 100% complete THPS HD with Revert Pack DLC? Only time will tell...
