My grandma met this 23 year kid off tictok who’s from Nigeria, she’s been talking to him for over a year, has sent him 100’s of dollars, she says she plans on taking a flight to barbados to meet him, my family knows about it but doesn’t seem to want to stop her, she had a therapist that turned her in for getting scammed but the lady never did anything and said that she seemed fine, i don’t know what to do, she says she plans on going within the next few months, i don’t have control of her financies and ive tried to tell her it’s fake and she knows but she doesn’t care, i don’t think she’ll even make it past the airport cause she doesn’t know her way around and she can barely be outta the house for more than a few hours or walk around very much. Im just at a lost i don’t want her to get killed or lose everything she has but she won’t listen to me or my family
