Hey all. I am most likely planning on getting a TFO Trout Panfish II - 6'0", UL, Fast, 1-piece rod. I have been doing some research and seen it mentioned many times that the JDM 23 Legalis is one of the best reels for ultralight in that price range. I have also read that the 2000 is very similar to the 1000, but with a slightly deeper spool. Which 23 Legalis reel would you recommend to pair with my rod between 1000S, 2000S-P, and 2000S-XH? Also, does that rod length seem good for my first ultralight? Thanks a lot for any help!
