Yet another daft noob. Update nag screen for dumped carts.
I got a new switch, so I wanted to hand down my old one. I am not looking to download games, just dump the carts I have.
Obviously, this means I don’t have updates or dlc, that’s fine. But can I get rid of the pop up that tells me there is a game update for literally every game I’ve checked so far?
Finding the update files is going to be a bit of faff.
I had read that TinWoo can strip the “NeedsUpdate” flag from a game. But the installer crashes when I launch it from the HB Menu (not applet version)
I got the same result with TinFoil, so I gathered this is an sig-patch issue?
I saw sig-patches is dead, so I added sys-patch to my SD..opening the overlay also crashes the switch.
This is all new to me (literally last 24 hours) but I have tried to do the reading before bothering folk for help.
