I have a newly delivered LR 5 Pro. Put it together last night, updated the firmware, checked the pinch detectors and curtain sensor which all seemed to be working fine, albeit seems like a 15 sec delay reaction time (slow) for what the LR 4 reaction timing is (I have 2 LR 4 models).
This morning as I introduced my long hair Maine coon-ish black cat, the globe began to turn. So I put my gloved hand in the globe touched the litter, insides of globe, moved my hand like a cat in the globe and the motion sensor did not go off.
What troubleshooting can I do (before contacting support) to verify the curtain sensor is working? I tried pressing the 3 middle buttons for 3 seconds and that did nothing. I cannot find any other instructions specifically for the LR 5 (LR 5 Pro) that talk about recalibrating the sensors.
Also, The globe still seems to be too small in the back for my Maine coon-ish kitty, which is disappointing. Any chance a larger lid will come out for those cats that need more head/tail space to move around? The litter area seems to work fine for her. She needs that large a space for her head and tail to swoosh around without getting it in the litter/poop.
