Do I risk the appraisal?

With card prices up, I took a look at my collection and found a bunch that would do well if they appraised high. A few would be worth it even with a 6 or 7 score, but some would need to be 9's or 10's to break even.

Any that standout as must grade? And has anyone used the Gamestop grading service? It seems easier and cheaper than sending to PSA directly.

Genlocke: Gen 2 complete

The Legacy Genlocke continues! Love the added challenge in these older games. The changes to Crystal caught me off guard, with lots of crits one-shotting team members. Lost Seadra to a crit flamethrower from the rival's Typhlosion. Didn't realize how low Seadra's special defense was. And the E4 went great, but Lance's Zapdos started a snowball that resulted in losing Starmie and Espeon. On to Emerald Legacy!

Genlocke ruleset:

  1. Capture the first Pokémon in each area

  2. If a Pokémon faints, it gets boxed

  3. Set mode/level caps to gyms/no items in battle

  4. If a Pokémon participates in a gym battle but doesn't come to the E4, it gets retired

  5. Champions get the following benefits: Max IVs->Good nature->Good ability->Shiny
