I haven't been a regular hooper for at least 3-4 years and need help picking a pair of shoes. I'm 5'7, 175lbs, and 23. I don't have any relevant injury history to shoes either. I play like your average underskilled smaller player, I do a lot of off ball motion and cutting to the basket, and powerful driving to the rim, with some jumpshooting off the dribble. I play a hard style of perimeter defense with a lot of lateral movement and hard stops. I currently have a pair of Nike Precision 6's that are a bit too long and narrow for my feet, and cause me arch and plantar pain. I have relatively wide feet, with mostly being wider on the medial side of my midfoot, and pretty flat feet overall as well. I remember having a pair of hyperrev 2016s and i liked the bouncy feeling of the zoom, and the lockdown from the strap but they felt high and unstable, and also my feet got super hot in them. I play 65/35 outdoor to indoor in the summer and only indoors in the winter, but im looking for only one pair of shoes. I've been looking at the kai 1, and wow 12s, but the wow's look kind of expensive to me. Any recommendations? The lower the price the better, but I'm willing to save up a bit for nicer shoes.
