Myntra ignored my selected refund mode and credited Myntra Credit instead of bank account

I recently returned an item on Myntra and while placing the return request, I had specifically selected refund to original payment source/bank account.
However, the refund was still processed as Myntra Credit instead of my bank account, and now support is giving generic responses.
I never intended to keep the money locked as store credit and this feels unfair because the selected refund mode was ignored.
Has this happened to anyone else recently? Were you able to get the refund reversed back to your bank account after escalation?
Any advice on what works best with Myntra support would really help.
