Some context:
- Right now, I have a 65" Sony Bravia X900H that I've been happy with. But I'm moving to a new place where my couch will be farther away from the TV so I'm looking to upgrade to 85"
- The vast majority of my usage is for PC and PS5 video gaming, with some youtube & streaming
- The place I'm moving to has massive wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows on both the south and west walls, so I will have tons of natural light coming in. The TV will be placed on the east wall (opposite the west window)
I've looked at lots of reviews and other posts regarding these two TVs on this sub, and it seems like the general consensus is that the Bravia 9 is the better TV. I was pretty committed to getting one until I learned 2 things:
- Apparently the Bravia 9 is great in bright rooms, but the QN90F is much better at handling reflections. It seems like reflections could be an issue in my situation
- The price of a Bravia 9 is $4,000 (maybe I could get it for like $3,400 on Greentoe), but I can get the QN90F right now for $2,500
Is the Bravia 9 still worth it over the QN90F for an extra $900-$1,500 and worse reflection handling? Or is the QN90F the right TV for me & my situation?
