Dell XPS 15 9520
I think my laptop port got damaged, so i think liquid might have gotten on the charger and i unknowningly plugged it in causing the port and charger to short. The original charger light flickers/dim and now doesn't even turn on and if it does work it doesn't charge consistently it would go on/off while plugged in. I ordered a new charger off amazon, and on the port that I believe is damaged it only pulls 90W and it says "Low wattage get higher wattage adapter", but on the other ports on the opposite side of laptop it pulls 130W which is the recommended and no warning or anything.
Before w/ the original charger everything worked fine, but now it says 90W being pulled.
Is the port soldered to the motherboard? Or can I replace it.
I can use the other ports instead but the its an inconvenience to route the charger to the left.
Thank you!
