Worth fixing 2000 Camry V6 for $3500?

I have a 2000 Camry with 162k miles that needs a knock sensor replacement and valve gasket replacement. It'll also need new bushings since they're cracked and new tires. All in, it will be around $3500.

I'm worried that something else will come up after I get all these things fixed. Should I get a new car instead? I've been considering a new Prius.

What's a good price on a 2025/26 Accord Hybrid?

I'm seeing a 2026 Hybrid Sport Touring for $38k near me which is a little under msrp.

Is that a good deal? I'm also torn on getting the civic or the accord. For $3k difference, what do you guys think?

I currently work at ABM in the Seattle area as a janitorial supervisor. I've been in this position for the past 3-4 years now with no growth as management simply does not care. I work nights as well so I have no visibility.

We contract with JLL so I talk to them sometimes and it seems a lot nicer to be on their end than ours. I've looked at job listing's and a FC role pays around $10k less than my current role ($70k). However, it seems like there's a clearer path to advancing. I don't have a degree, but would assistant FM or FM be attainable if I stick with the company?

Curious what you guys think. Should I jump ship?
