Devin Vassell's 51 minutes last night and the fact he leads all the Spurs in MPG so far this playoffs, despite his 32% shooting, show how much the coaching staffs value his game. 🔥

Sophomore Stephon Castle Through His First Two Playoff Rounds: 19.9/4.9/6.1 with 3.1 TOV on 49% FG (6.6/13.5), 44% 3PT (2.0/4.5), 80% FT (4.6/5.8)

This level of offensive production, while also being the best perimeter defender on his team, is beyond impressive for a 21 year-old sophomore guard.

I really respect the respect the entire Spurs team except for Castle.

Dude flops like a fish and fouls like OKC on defense. Matter of fact, he plays exactly like OKC.

Which is a bummer cause he's super talented. I do respect the hustle tho.

Great to play against a respectable opponent (unlike OKC) who really brings it. If they do beat us I'll be rooting for them, but 100% believe we can win this series.

Last season and before, most common description of him was...

"He's so useless when his shots not falling, and his shots are inconsistent as hell."

Yes, shots are still inconsistent. But man**,** he found his way to play well and impact every single games.

No wonder his minutes per game in both regular season and postseason are only behind Fox. That's how's needed on the floor. We simply plays better with him as a connector, spacer, defender, low-maintainace / low-mistakes glue guy.
